Art Therapy Supervision & Mentorship

Support, Guidance & Encouragement for Emerging Art Therapists

Starting your career as an art therapist can feel exciting, rewarding, and overwhelming all at the same time.

Whether you're a student preparing for the next stage of your education, working toward professional goals, or looking for guidance as you grow your clinical confidence, mentorship and supervision can provide a supportive space to learn, reflect, and strengthen your skills.

My goal is to create an environment where emerging professionals feel encouraged, challenged, and supported as they develop their unique identity as an art therapist.

A Collaborative Approach to Learning

I believe supervision should be more than checking boxes or meeting requirements. It should be a space where curiosity, creativity, and professional growth are welcomed.

As both a Supervisor for Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor credentialing, I bring experience from working with children, teens, young adults, neurodivergent individuals, and families. Together, we'll explore clinical questions, strengthen your therapeutic skills, and build confidence in your work.

Supervision is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and navigate challenges, helping you discover the unique therapist, with your unique strengths, you are capable of becoming. My goal is to support you in using clinical tools to develop into your own unique therapist identity, rather than simply mimicking my approach.

My Philosophy on Supervision

I know firsthand that growth happens when we feel safe enough to ask questions, explore new ideas, and learn from both successes and challenges.

My approach to supervision is rooted in collaboration, compassion, and curiosity. I strive to create a space where supervisees feel supported while also being encouraged to think critically, trust their instincts, and develop confidence in their own clinical voice.

I don't believe there is one "right" way to be an art therapist. Instead, I believe the most effective clinicians are those who learn how to integrate their education, experiences, creativity, and authentic personality into their work.
